Is my data safe on this site?

Yes, your personal information is protected. We use a secure (SSL) connection to protect everything you send, such as your messages or your payments. You can check this via the padlock shown in your browser’s address bar.

My email address is invalid. What should I do?

If your email address is rejected, it may already have been used on a site within the same network. Use a different email address to sign up (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, GMX, etc.).

I didn’t receive the sign-up confirmation email. What should I do?

First check your Spam, Junk and Promotions folders. If you still can’t find it, make sure the email address entered in your account is correct.

Can I change the email linked to my account?

Yes. Go to My Account, then Email address. Change the address under Personal information, then click Save.

How do I sign up?

Go to the SilverGranny sign-up page, fill in the requested details, accept the terms and confirm your registration. You’ll then receive a confirmation email to activate your account.

What if I’ve forgotten my password?

On the login page, click Forgot password?, enter your email, then follow the link you receive to reset your password.

I can’t see the sign-up or login form.

An ad blocker may be the cause. Disable it, then refresh the page. If needed, also clear your browser cache.

How do I use search to find profiles that match me?

Click the search magnifier, then adjust your filters (location, age, body type, profiles with photos, etc.). You can also use the preset searches: nearby profiles, new members and recently active profiles.

Why do only a few profiles appear?

Your criteria are probably too narrow. Widen the location radius or relax some filters to see more profiles.

How do I send messages?

You can send messages after a Match, via Speedflirt, or directly from a member’s profile. Some messaging options may require a subscription depending on your plan.

I’d like to use video chat.

To start a video chat, you need to have matched with the person (or be a fan in some cases). Then open the conversation and click the video icon.

How do I use Speedflirt and Snaps?

Speedflirt lets you quickly discover profiles, like, match and then chat. Snaps are short-lived visual posts that liven up your profile. You can view and post them from the dedicated areas of your member space.

I have questions about the interactions.

Kiss: a quick sign of interest. Match: two members like each other and can chat freely. Second chance and My Likes: these sections help you find profiles you’ve already seen and manage interested members.

What should I do if I feel harassed or uncomfortable with another member?

Block the member immediately from their profile and report the behaviour via the Report option. Our moderation team can step in quickly.

How do I report or block a profile?

From the profile in question, click the options icon, then choose Report abuse or Block this member.

How do I unblock a profile I’ve blocked?

Go to the menu, open Blocked profiles, then click Unblock.

How do I update my profile?

In My Account then My Profile, edit the details you want and click Save. You can also add photos, a private album and adjust your description.

Can I change my username?

Yes, you can change it once. The other profile elements (description, photos, preferences) can be changed at any time.

How do I delete my profile?

Log in, go to My Account, then the advanced section of your information, and choose Permanently delete my profile. If you have a subscription, remember to cancel its renewal first.

How do I unsubscribe?

Log in, open My Account, the Subscription section, then click Cancel my renewal. If in doubt, contact support via our Contact page.

I have a problem with my subscription. What should I do?

If your subscription isn’t active after payment, or in the event of unexpected billing, contact support from the Contact page, stating your account email and the transaction date.

Will your site’s name appear on my bank statement?

We use discreet billing descriptors to protect your privacy on bank statements, in line with billing rules.

How do I meet someone in person safely?

Chat enough online first, choose a public place for the first meeting, tell someone close to you, and avoid sharing sensitive personal information too early.

I have a display problem with the chat or messages.

Temporarily disable ad blockers, overly strict antivirus software or firewalls that may block certain components, then reload the page.

How do I update my browser?

Always use the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge. Updates usually happen automatically from the browser settings.

Is the site accessible from a smartphone or tablet?

Yes, SilverGranny works on mobile and tablet. You can browse, chat and manage your profile from all your devices.

How do I manage my email notifications?

In My Account, open Notifications, then tick or untick the alerts you want to receive.
